Dr Helena Jenzer reçoit l'EAHP Board Professional Excellence Award 2025
The 2025 Board of Directors Professional Excellence Award from the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) was presented to Dr. Helena Jenzer, recognising her outstanding contributions to the hospital pharmacy profession in Europe and to the growth of EAHP. Dr. Jenzer holds a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has had a distinguished career in hospital pharmacy. She began as head of the quality control laboratory at Inselspital pharmacy (Bern), where she also served as deputy head pharmacist until 1996. She then became head pharmacist at Fribourg Hospital for 10 years. After a brief time in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Jenzer returned to Inselspital as head of manufacturing from 2007 to 2010. Since 2011, she has been a professor at Berner Fachhochschule and the head pharmacist at the Psychiatrischen Universitätsklinik Zürich. Dr. Jenzer’s career is built on her work in analytics, pharmacotechnics, education, and scientific research. One of her key achievements was developing an injectable paracetamol solution in the 2000s at Fribourg Hospital, when only the original formulation was available in Switzerland. Many students have also benefitted from her mentorship, with numerous individuals completing their diplomas and bachelors’ theses under her guidance at Berner Fachhochschule.
Helena Jenzer has been deeply involved in professional associations. Early in her career, she worked with GSASA, taking on roles such as a member of the analytical working group, a GSASA delegate to national societies, and head of the information systems sector. She also served as GSASA Administration Manager and played a key role in creating the society’s first website.
In addition to her work with GSASA, Dr. Jenzer has been an active member of the EAHP for over 10 years.
As a member of the EAHP Scientific Committee, she has developed and moderated training sessions at EAHP
Congresses and Academy seminars.
She has also contributed to the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) project on drug shortages and chaired the EAHP Special Interest Group on Eliminating Avoidable Harm.
Dr. Jenzer’s dedication to advancing hospital pharmacy and improving patient care has had a lasting impact
on the profession.

GSASA membre d'honneur Stefan Mühlebach reçoit un doctorat honorifique de l'Université Semmelweis (2.12.2019)
L'Université Semmelweis de Hongrie a décerné un doctorat honorifique au Professeur Stefan Mühlebach, Professeur titulaire en pharmacologie et médecine hospitalière à l'Université de Bâle.
Par ce prix, la Faculté des sciences pharmaceutiques de l'Université Semmelweis rend hommage aux réalisations scientifiques exceptionnelles de Mühlebach et à sa coopération intensive avec l'université d'Etat hongroise, notamment en organisant plusieurs conférences internationales. Le doctorat honorifique a été décerné le 8 novembre 2019 à Budapest.

Influencer of the year 2014 - Enea Martinelli erhält diese Auszeichnung für seine Leistungen rund um die Medikationssicherheit (uniquement en allemand)
Eine Jury von rund 80 Führungskräften schweizerischer Spitäler zeichnete Dr. pharm. Enea Martinelli für seine Leistungen rund um die Medikationssicherheit und für den Aufbau der regionalen pharmazeutischen Versorgung von Institutionen im Berner Oberland aus.
Die Wahl fand anlässlich des Strategy Circle Gesundheitswesen statt, einer Tagung des Veranstalters Management Events, bei der sich Führungskräfte von Spitälern regelmässig zur Diskussion über Trends und Herausforderungen der schweizerischen Spitäler treffen. Die Tagung fand am 11. und 12. März 2014 in Pfäffikon SZ statt. Ausgezeichnet wurde Dr. pharm. Enea Martinelli für zwei seiner langjährigen Aktivitäten im Gesundheitswesen:
- Internationale Beachtung finden die Richtlinien zur Minderung von Verwechslungsproblemen von Medikamenten wegen ihrer Bezeichnungen und Beschriftungen (sound-alike, look-alike).
- Weiter hat Enea Martinelli einen sehr innovativen Ansatz gefunden, wie die pharmazeutische Versorgung von Institutionen effizient und auf qualitativ hohem Niveau organisiert werden kann.
Swiss Quality Award - Innovations in Healthcare 2013
De nouvelles idées, des objectifs clairs et un grand engagement, tels sont les points communs à tous les projets postulant au Swiss Quality Award. Près de 60 projets ont été envoyés en vue de participer au Swiss Quality Award 2013. Dans la catégorie «Sécurité des patients» le projet kinderdosierungen.ch: Kinderspital Zürich macht sein Know-how der Fachwelt zugänglich (uniquement en allemand) a remporté le prix. Le prix a été remis à Priska Vonbach, mercredi 12 juin 2013 lors du Symposium national pour la gestion de la qualité dans le secteur de la santé - Félicitations!
Prix de la Pharmacie Francophone 2011: haute distinction pour Pascal Bonnabry
L'Académie nationale de Pharmacie" (France) récompense par ce prix des pharmaciens de nationalité étrangère pour des travaux scientifiques effectués pour la plus grande part dans leurs pays ou pour l’ensemble de leurs activités professionnelles honorant la profession.
La création de ce Prix de la Pharmacie francophone s’inscrit dans les objectifs de l'Académie :
- travailler au progrès des Sciences et au perfectionnement des Techniques se rapportant à la Pharmacie;
- développer les relations nationales et internationales entre les Pharmaciens;
- resserrer entre eux les liens de la confraternité.
C’est la première fois que cette distinction est décernée à un pharmacien hospitalier.
Le prix de la pharmacie francophone a été remis à Pascal Bonnabry lors de la séance solennelle de remise des distinctions, dans la salle des actes de la Faculté de Paris V, le 14 décembre 2011.
